We feed only grass in the ground year round at 7000' in elevation on the Front Range of the Rockies. All native pasture. Salt and mineral are the only supplements available year round. 365 day grazing is not just a goal, it has been a practice for over 10 years. Often culling over 75% annually, we have selected the cattle that truly work in a pure pastured environment. Our early spring review of the herd and the selection pressure of the winter grazing allows us to clearly identify real world animals with high metabolic efficiency.
